SWIG - Challenges and Future Needs for Sensors in the Water Sector
29th September 2010 - Sensing Technology 2010, NEC, Birmingham
Published: 02 August, 2010
The Water Sector faces significant environmental, economic and societal challenges over the next 20 years. Meeting these will require efficiency improvements, rationalisation of water use and new approaches to asset management. The development and adoption of new instrumentation and sensor technology will be fundamental to meeting these challenges.
This workshop takes a look at these issues from both a water company and the environmental regulator’s view and explores the role SWIG can have in supporting end users and the supply chain in meeting these challenges and benefiting from the opportunities they bring.
